How to hard reset

Finally got it to work on my xrs4500 but once in I cannot cursor down to factory reset. It says to use the volume buttons but they don't work.

did you test remote with camera?
also make sure you're close because remote is in IR mode

Remote failed poorly. I have been having remote issues for quite some time.
