    Default files lost on external HDD

    Hi, I have a formuler 7 and I attached my external HDD to view photos, today I disconnected with power off, then connected to my pc, and everything is gone. PC is mentioning i need to reformat before I can use it. I had all my photos.

    I had a similar problem with a cameras sd card.I used a program from cardrecovery.youknowwhat.Worked like a charm.

    Only thing I can say is it could have changed the format (NTSF to Fat) some how, were you able
    to access the drive and save what's on it. ? The other possibility is the HDD drive is on it's way "OUT"

    The root directory was probably corrupted somehow, if the drive is not damaged too bad it can be fixed.

    I use this to fix up drives.
