Default XRS4500 won't recover after slight freeze

After running for about 30 minutes and a slight freeze comes along it with not resume the channel picture. If I change up or down to the next channel and then go back it is fine again but this seems to happen to often, about every few seconds, sometimes longer depending on how often the freezes come down the line.
I'm using NFPS. I switched portals from 5 to 4 but the same results.

Unless you have a backup provider, it's hard to say where the problem lies. I always have 2 servers. That way, if there is an issue, you can tell if it's your provider, or the unit.

I have a similar issue with a 4500xrs:the longer it runs, the more frequent the stall. Not a provider issue as a buzz 3900,Dreamlink T2 prime, & 3 htpcs with stbemu don't do it.Mine is back in the box.Don't like it enough to care.lol

Agreed Noof. I haven't put it back in the box yet but I changed back to my XR 4000. In another room I use a T1 and not problem with either the 4000 or the T1.

If you could PM which channel #s did this on NFPS?
So we can reproduce it here and try to fix it

    Hi Noof
If you recall, I started the thread on the "annoying problem". Same issue as yours on xrs4500. Sent it back and received a new one.
    All good now.
