    Default XPL 3000 2018 Edition

Need some advice on which box to get, I have a choice of either Android 6 or Android 7, Some people have reported that the Android 6 device actually works better and has less glitches. Both machines are 2/8gb configuration.

Should I go with the newer Android or it's better to get Android 6? Is the Android 6 really smoother? Less glitches, less lags when it wakes up from sleep?

From what I've read with others experiences is that the box with Android 7 gets really laggy after it wakes up from sleep. Also, there a problem with the settings app, it crashes when you switch sound setting from pcm to hdmi raw. Which I'm guessing doesn't happen with the box with Android 6.

    Please advice.

No, the 2GB edition also has issues, with the sound settings crashing if you choose hdmi raw option, also, it gets ver laggy after you wake up from sleep mode. This is with Android 7.1.2 installed.

I have both 6 & 7 and they perform equally

Actually I bought a few pieces (2018 edition) which had android 7.1.2 on them but had issues with changing some audio settings and got really laggy after they woke up from sleep. Got em downgraded to android 6.0.1 on the advice of the kind people over at BuzzTv. They installed the android 6.0.1 firmware on them for me (I think it's the firmware made for the basic model), however, they work much smoother without any issues. Interface is still the same and they update fine to the latest buzztv player, which I believe is version 3.52.
