Default Anyone tried to play 4K VOD?

My server has few movies in 4K and they either do not play at all on XRS4500 or freeze and unwatchable. The only reason I paid premium for this box was to watch 4K movies and, well. Otherwise, I am quite happy with my MAG256 which, of course, does not support 4K content.

    Which service are you using?

Because think about it, how can a premium brand/box be unable to play 4k movies? The buzz 4500 is definitely not a mag256, that should tell you it's not the box causing your issue.

    From Buzz

    In our tests
This happens because the Server isn't streaming the 4K stream fast enough
    So this affects playback
This would explain why some users say works fine and others have issues on this thread.

The 4500 has 0 issues streaming 4K, if the stream you're watching it from is encoded and streamed properly.
Lots of review videos show it playing 4K HEVC 60FPS and other formats of 4K playing with ease.

Try using VLC as the player if you haven't already.

Just to add some information that probably is irrelevant to iptv but my LG plays 4K and I occasionally use a Roku stick. I tried to play a 4K from one of the providers that I use (forgot which one) and it just about burnt the Roku stick up.

Not surprised at all:that poor little hd smd component would be going into cardiac arrest trying to stream 4K@ 60 fps.lol

Based on the statement made by the buzz team its iptv service related and not the media player being used

Was wondering about this. So I dont have to install any special 4K player on my buzz 3000 then? Should play with what the box originally came with? Either VLC or Kodi?

Yup...as long as the stream is actually 4k,& you have the bandwidth to support it

Yes, issue is definitely with my service provider and not with Buzz. I will test my Buzz with a different 4K service provider.
