arq100 remote

ok only the Power button that works, and im scared to use the file as last time I bricked the box.
Here is what I did downloaded the attached file and then extracted file put usb reader into box clicked the fix and then bricked lol
am I not suppose to extract the file .. not sure
But when I first got the remote it worked rite out of the box on my 3000 basic.
sure would be nice to use it again.

Despite being made fun of for my time with buzztv tech their products have some issues. It would be really helpful if they had instructions on using their stuff like the arq 100 that didnt work for me on my xr4500. I tried everything but the patch file as I read it will brick a 4500, also confirmed by the tech. The trick that worked for me the tech told me when you remove and reinsert dongle put the remote within 1 ft or .3 meters of the unit.
Since then it works every time I do that when it loses sync.

i have tried the 3000 the 4000 and the 4500

i read else where about taking batteries out push a button, then insert batteries hold the x > buttons, get no flashing light

the arq 100 does not have a search mode That is for the bluetooth remote

Yea you suggested using a patch file found in the 3000 section for arq. At end of day I find myself repairing dongle to remote every time I reboot or hard restart box. As long as I put remote on top of box while pairing dongle it works fine.
