There is a post on buzz Support site regarding this issue. No solution provided. I’m using buzz 2000 remote on buzz 4000 and it is working fine.

it seems like buzz support don't seems to understand my situation. Most android companies tend use NEC protocol with device code of 0 but buzz had decided originally to keep code different to not interfere with other IR remote signal .The model xpl3000 works perfectly with but model xr4000 seems to also accept the NEC protocol with device code of 0 where it shoud only respond to NEC protocol with device code 2 and subdevice 189 .If anybody else has this experience please let them know .They said we can't change the code in the box .I think their New App BuzzTv4 has these new codes mixed up ,because buzztv2 App works perfectly with remotes from both of model remotes.

in my situation is when i change the input on my hdmi switch with remote of hdmi switch the channel on my buzz xr4000 changes , but it dioesn't do with xpl3000.so i think it the New APP on the new box seems to accept codes also from other remote device.
