It came with 2 SW21 switches so the last thing I need to know is what do I have the settings on the T5 cuz Ive never used an SW21 before. Do I put it as single or OCS-DP and then use the SW settings for 1 and 2?
Those (pic) look like legacy LNB's so in Dish settings use single, and in switch setting SW21-1 OR SW21-2 (91-82) Depending on
how cabling is configured, You don't need to use a Disque switch, the SW21 combines two Sat's into one cable to Receiver
If you plan on using more than 1-Receiver then you would use a Multi-Switch or 2-SW21's to 2-Receivers

Set it up last night with the new lnb and sw21 switch and it worked perfectly. No adjustments at all.
Thanks for all the help everyone!

Ok, it all worked well until yesterday. Lost signal on everything. I switched from the sw-21 to a chieta diseq and it came back on. 2 hours later, same thing. I ended up running a cable directly from the one of the lnb's to the receiver. It worked for 20 min. and then no signal again. I switched the lnb's from the holder to see if that was the prob. 20 min and the same thing. If I reboot the receiver when the signal goes out, I get another 20 min. before it goes out again.
I did buy the dish and lnb's used but they both looked in perfect condition and it did work for a few weeks with no probs. I ordered a couple new lnb's from Amazon but wanted to know if this could be a receiver problem and if anyone has ever came across this before?

Are you getting any messages showing up on TV like 1. No Signal or 2. Bad signal etc.
If you are then it could be a Bad power adapter (plugs into wall) and or heat issues with HD module PS Board/blown Caps.
have you any auxiliary COOLING (Fans) blowing/sucking Hot air out from Rec. keeping things cool ?

No Signal shows up after 20 min. or so but the picture is still on. Once I change the channel, it totally goes out. Do you think it could be the power supply that plugs into the wall? It is the brick type. I did notice that it was fairly hot but it ran that way when I had it at my house, although, I never had it on very often where my neighbor has it on all the time. The receiver I found for him didnt come with a power supply so I gave him mine till I found another one.
I have always had a fan with any T5 I sold or gave to someone.....Way cheaper than trying to replace the module.....lol

The power supply you gave him, was it the original that came with the T5 or another one you purchased ?

You want one like these: hxxps://www.amazon.ca/Topled-Light-Universal-100-240V-Lighting/dp/B01MCXGTH3/ref=sr_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=AC+to+DC+12V+3A+Power +Supply&qid=1599700549&s=electronics&sr=1-6

It was the one I have used since the day I got it......Many years ago.
Could both LNB's be bad at the same time? They were used when bought.

Ok, Ill try that....Never even thought about that. Ill try the power adapter from my other T5. We can easily return the lnb's if we dont need them.

Also make sure you have additional COOLING measures (fans) in place keeping the T5 from Heating up
Heat issues can cause all sorts of problems

I always have a fan running with the T5. Like I said, its way cheaper than frying the HD module.
Well, put my power supply on my neighbors T5 and seems to be good at the moment. Would never have thought that could be the prob. We were starting to think it was the cable in the wall, which would have been a pain running a new one. You saved me a lot of time and now I can cancel the Amazon lnb order now.
    Thanks again!

So that exact power supply will fit the T5?
