This is the one for the Dish 1000 newer style Eastern or Western arc LNB's, it will only hold the newer style triple head LNB's it will not hold the DP single or DP dual/twin LNB's, and it will not fit on a Dish 500 arm.

What I have done during my experimental stages is to use the Dish 500 mast and LNB mount with a Dish 1000 pan, the Dish 1000 pan gives you a bit more signal to the dual/twin LNB setup.

This setup is with a Dish 500 mount and arm, a Dish 1000 pan will bolt right on.

The 1st 2 pics is what my neighbor has and the 2nd 2 is what I have. I want to put the 3 head lnb holder on my neighbors dish arm and hopefully not have to re-aim anything......

OK, they will fit, you do not have a standard dish1000, so I don't see a problem, but the dish he has will not work too good with the 3 satellite LNB's, first it is not aimed right for 110, 119 and 129, second it's way too small, it doesn't have a 20 degree beam width.

I dont want 110/119.....His dish is aimed at 82/91 which is what we want. I was hoping to just put my 3 lnb holder on his dish (only use 2 lnb's) and get 82/91 without re-aiming.

Ahhhh...But still, you will have to re-aim, as the double LNB dish is not aimed right for a triple LNB setup, the double LNB dish it set to be aligned in-between the two satellites, the triple head LNB setup has 119 (or what ever you were looking at) as the center satellite, you would have to tweak the dish for better reception on the outside satellite.

Even if you only used the two outside LNB's it would still be off by 5 degrees on both...82/91 = a 9 degree spread, divided by 2 = a 4.5 degree offset (center focal point)....110/119/129 = a 19 degree spread, with 119 in the center the two outside LNB's are at a 9.5 degree offset from center, and are too far apart to work for 81/91.

You would have to use the center LNB and one of the outside LNB's, without re-aiming it wouldn't work too good.

Ok, so if I just use the middle lnb for 91 for starters, once locked in, can I just put an lnb on the right side to get 82 or will it have to be skewed?

Also, did you say in an above post that I can remove the lnb's from the dp plus and put in 2 standard lnb's? The ones from my dish would be rectangle shaped where the coax goes so I assume I would need the oval shaped ones. Is this possible? I just have a helluva time aiming dishes......lol

The DP Dish 500 LNB holder will not fit any after market FTA type LNB, it will only hold DP type "D" based LNB's, two DP standard single satellite LNB's will fit, but not from another type dish.

If your LNB's are the square type bottoms they wont fit the DP type LNB holder.

And you would have to re-aim the dish if you use your LNB's and holder.

It will work with a diseq, but sw21's are my first choice with legacy lnbs.If you can find an o.e. sw21, it will last much longer than any diseq .
