Default Portal speed issue with Mag Box

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows any solution for Mag connection speed issue.

My home internet connection is 50mbps+ and having great speed for everything.

But when i check the internet speed on the Mag 322 box, it shows only 4-5mbps . Not sure why .

For GemTV, its around 4mbps and Tvzon around 9mbps.

Anyone knows any work around for this issue.

    This is killing me !!

    Thanks in advance.

What type/brand/model of router do you have??

And what service are you using to test the connection speeds??

    I use speedtest.net.

I have used both Mag 254 and 322 . same speed limit problem. tried with DNS change like google and Cisco one. same old speed issue.

You might try logging into your router and prioritizing your network users by editing the QoS and assigning your device the highest priority. Worked for me on Xfinity...............
