    Default Sound Issue

When I have my T5 on the HD channels, I can control the volume with the DL remote but if I go to the SD channels, I have to use the remote for the tv as the DL remote doesnt work for volume. Is there a setting Im missing so I can use the DL remote for volume on SD channels?

How is the T5 hooked to TV HDMI or Component, ? my sound is controlled by a soundbar, i leave the T5
VOLUME all the way up, and control the volume/sound with soundbar remote.
Also check in T5 A/V settings for (AC-3), Better Compatibility

I have it hooked up with an HDMI cable. Sound is controlled by T5 remote when on HD channels, but I have to use TV remote when on SD channels. Dont watch SD channels too often but its weird that this happens when I do watch them.

Try hooking up with component, (red,blue,yellow/green) and see if it has the same issue
There must of been a bad batch of DL's with the wonky "HDMI PORT", cause I have one with that issue
When I use component there's no PROBLEM

I turned off AC3 in the audio and now it works fine. I guess SD channels dont have AC3?
