I think in order to see it as internal you would need to mount/format the drive. Be careful with that task with an SSD because then it essentially is tethered to that device

Under record option you have choice of 116gb of internal or choose your drive of choice
under format option you do have option to save all files and folders to the ssd , I chose not to go that route . It is quite nice to have record to internal of 116gb though

Yes that is huge, provided it functions properly. Issue I always have with recording with anything is stability of the provider, I find most IPTV programs don't have a just a plain record what's on the screen ability meaning if the stream stutters or stops or does a 3-5 second loop the recording stops because the program detects an anomaly and to save space cancels the recording. I am hoping the 4900 on UI5 can record still regardless of what happens or makes an internal 3-5 tries to continue the recording process.

I did several tests on any given channel and after 30 seconds of record , screen flashes black than message appears in botton of screen telling me record is complete evan though it is not
i tried on 2 servers with same results .

On the screen that displays what is being recorded. if 15 minutes in the line shows 45 min remaining it just starts recording immediately for 30 secs than drops off.
i have not set any for times past current time.

on screen , i select record , red button , box pops up showing
channel i am recording
name of show .
time it started and when it finishes .bellow that is option where to save my recordings .
I select internal and hit save
msg pops up telling me starting record . red symbol on top right appears , stays on for 30 sec
screen flickers black than once picture comes back on .. i get msg saying record complete. and what was recorded is saved under pvr section.

I had no issues recording like that with buzz 5
