Default New TCL TV and Dreamlink HD

I just got a new TCL tv 55S533. I plugged directly into the tv hdmi, but I get no picture. I tried multiple NEW HDMI cables, no picture.

The DLT5 works fine, nothing wrong with it, for some odd reason i cant get a picture. Im stumped,

Try T5 video settings to 720p and see if that shows up.

On the TV settings did you match the (HDMI Input PORTS) the cable is plugged into 1. 2. 3. etc.
If it has Component setup Try that to get a picture

I’ll have to try that, but will need to do it on another tv.

You can try this: Unplug your TV, unplug all devices that are plugged into your TV and then hold the power button down for about a minute or so. Then plug one video source (preferably a local DVD/BR or Game console)in and plug the TV in, restart. See if that resolved it since a bad cable box can sometimes cause a dark screen as well.

Not sure if it will work but worth a try ?

Are you saying that if you plug the TV box into HDMI 1 the TCL TV doesn't find it ? Or your TV goes black?

T5 HDMI signal output can be weak or non-existant.It is a VERY common problem with the T5.Some tv's are more fussy than others about the input signal strength.I did a Google search for specs on your tv, & it appears that it only has hdmi & optical inputs but no component & composite, so you may be farged.

Tried different cables, different ports looks like it won’t work. Hate it now I have to try to find a JB200 for my old jynxbox

You could also try a composite to hdmi cable, because your tv has optical audio input according to what I found on the net

Searching Amazon as I read this, wonder if there is any other way to boost power or anything or I’ll just stick with that option

I have 3 troubled hdmi dreamlinks in our group.I tried an HDMI signal amp om all 3: no go.
It can also be an HDCP handshake issue as well. The end result is the same.
