    3. I cut 2-holes approx. 2"x2" on opposite side of top cover, added 2 portable usb fans blowing/sucking any heat out that develops
Have been running the T5 now about 2-4hrs. and no hiccups/blackouts etc. This SETUP is with a (HDMI Cable) not component.
Not saying this will solve your problem with Your T5, But it seems to have solved mine.
Thanks Auggie I appreciate your feed back , and I will give it a try , I have it hooked up with composite cables and switch to as channels and seems to work ok but not any HD channels but is a little better

I have been testing this Neoteck HDMI-2.0 REPEATER WITH 4K/60HZ support for about 4-days now &

It has been Flawless no Blackouts or Hiccups of any kind, tried different A/V settings 1080, 720, PCM, AC3

On HD & SD channels solid no lags etc. this SEEMS to have solved the issue for my T5 box anyways

ok so great news. The component to hdmi cable converter works. I can now connect directly to my new TCL TV.

So for those who are having hdmi issues, this is a verified working solution.

I used this adapter with a 1.5ft component cable.
    Code:
