BOOM!!!!!!! flop
thats a very angry look, time for a treat to calm it down
Beautiful looking animal.
They are beautiful for sure but a complete pain in the arse! I had a pack surround me this spring where I live and it was their worst nightmare as I was packing a 7mm Mag.....
Anyone that ever says they won't attack is nothing but brain dead....
MYTH: Wolves are a deadly menace to humans.
FACT: In North America, there have been six documented unprovoked attacks causing injury, and 21 believed to be related to wolves which had been fed by humans, in over a century.
My 7mm only holds 4 but I carry 2 extra loaded mags with me just in case. After the 3rd wolf dropped they got the point and took off. Don't kid yourself about wolves not attacking. Spend enough time in the bush like I do and you will see. The myth they only go after the weak is also 100% David Suzuki crap. I watched a pack of wolves harrass a Male Grizzly one day. It was pretty incredible at the amount of hair those buggers removed from the Grizz. The Grizz won in the end after a few good swats that connected. Pretty sure one wolf ran away and died although I could not find it.
Never...and I have been charged by 2 Grizzlies at different times. I have hunted for 40 years and the wolf encounter I spoke of is the 2nd time it happened in 40 years which is not bad at all. I like to hunt to eat and not into killing animals for the heck of it. I Hunt Elk and deer but if i get charged by a Grizz or a pack of wolves it's go time after I scrape the crap outta my pants lol....As we know Canada has some strict gun laws and if I was able to pack a 45 in a shoulder holster I would.
I hear ya, but MANY do carry a backup, illegal or not.Not so much in northern Ontario, but more so in big bear country.I know of a fly-in fishing guide that carries a 4"629 in manitoba. He is not alone. In that position, I would do the same.I believe in Murphy's law in this case:if you have it,you won't need it.I'm a revolver guy myself.
