Default Extra Lengrh Power Adapter with Cord or Extension

I had to move my T5 HD to another area, but had an issue with the length of the power adapter with cord reaching the plug because I believe the cord is only 3-4 feet long.

Is there a 12 volt 3 amp power adapter with cord I could purchase that is at least 6 feet long or more or would an extension cord work with this unit if available.

    Thanks in advance.

    Something like this: hxxps://www.amazon.ca/VCE-2-Pack-Female-Adapter-Extension/dp/B079Z18RSW/ref=sr_1_26?dchild=1&keywords=12+volt+3+amp+power+ adapter+6ft+cord&qid=1613675408&sr=8-26

If you don't want to use a extension cord

Best to use a fused power-bar insted of just an extension cord incase you get a power spike from something.......
