    Default any ideas

hey guys a buddy of mine is having problems with his dreamlink he goes into the menu and has internet all the numbers fill in but he can't get any channels to come in its not the code because his code works on my machine. he's using his phone with a wifi extender and has been working fine for a few months he was saying he only has a yellow light in the back where the ethernet plugs in but no green light mine has both so i'm confused why his would only have yellow. he's tried rebooting everything and it says connection but can't connect to server.
    thanks

Check in DL network settings and see if it's set to static, change to DHCP if set to static

If you're certain all settings are correct, I would try to connect some other device to the the extender & cable to see if thats the issue.Go from there.

Yellow light indicates, the modem is attempting to connect with your WPS device. The light should turn green and the device connect after two minutes. If it doesn’t, your modem has a problem the gateway is closed.

A quick one you can tell your friend to do is Pull the power plug from modem/router for about a 20-30sec"s
which it should re-boot after plugging back in, see what happens ?
