X96 X4 Pro with SlimBox ROM

If you are looking for a cheap streaming box, look up X96 X4 (32GB/4GB Amlogic S905X4) on AliExpress. It costs around $50. The original Android OS is really crappy, so I managed to flash it with the SlimBox ROM. It's a game changing experience with this clean Android 11 ROM. So snappy and works great. It feels NVidia Shield like experience for very cheap . Tested Tivimate, Plex and JF apps working very well.

Flashing the ROM wasn't too bad. Instruction on that site is pretty clear. You will need a USB-A to A cable.
There are so many variants of these android box out there on AliExpress and many other sites. Make sure of the chip model to see if it has a proper ROM before purchasing. I heard the TOX1 box is pretty good.
