Unhappy Banging my head against the wall

Hi gang, i'm hoping you can help me out with a DLT5 that won't connect to 91. A friends box stopped connecting so i tried at my place and it worked right away. At the friends, settings are the same, 91 shows in corner, good Q&S, same ISP, the only diff I see are the network settings. He has an Apple Airport, ip in T5 starts with 10.
I suggested bypassing it so he did, ip now startis with 50.
At my place, it starts with 192.
I don't know what else to suggest, any ideas? I'm at a loss how to fix the problem. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thx!

can you/friend log into the Airport, and see if it can see the T5, Also can you maybe assign a Static IP Address for the T5
Instead of the Airport giving it one (DHCP). Is there another Modem/router hooked up to the airport ? If so you may have to
put the airport in Bridge Mode, and let the modem/router do the IP Addressing or assignment of IP address.
I'm no tech on this stuff just offering some suggestions.

try and hook the T5 right to the ISP modem directly. dont forget to reboot modem after unhooking cables.

When you said you tried his receiver at your place, did you bring his power supply to your place as well or did you just use your power supply. I've had several connection issues where all looks good but the power supply has gotten weak and causes all kinds of issues.
Try changing out the power supply to his receiver.

Not only what Sooper says but are you using the same network cable? Try a know working network cable too.

im starting to think we are missing something here lol. it works at your house but not his. you tried to hook it directly to the cable modem with a reboot of the modem? your saying it wont connect to bird 91? so that has nothing to do with the internet nor the network. if 82 is working fine then there is something wrong with the cables switch. tell us what kinda dish lnbs switches he is running?

I would get rid of the Apple Airport, and try a Different Modem/Router
