T5 Constantly Rebooting
My Dreamlink T5 is rebooting about every 30 seconds.
I must start by saying that I am not a newbie at the satellite game, been at it for years.
I have several friends with T5's that I manage for them so I know what I'm doing but this baffles me.
One of my Dreamlink T5 recently started rebooting every 30 seconds. I have several times interchanged 2 different T5's, one works perfect and the second is constantly rebooting. The problem is constantly with the same second T5.
I went to the Files section and download the Dt5_upgrade file that supposedly fixes this problem. After the download my T5 still continues to reboot. I then put in the T5 factory file followed by the Feb 6, 2017 bin file and then rescanned all the channnels, it still reboots.
I also put another T5 (which I know works perfectly fine) with the same files on the same TV with the same RG6 coax cable and HDMI to tv cable with no issues. So I know for sure it's specific to that receiver and it 's programming.
I know for sure that the power supply is good as I have a brand new power supply feeding it and still rebooting.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I'm at my wits end.
Thanx, for any help

I did exactly that and still have the same problem on the problem receiver

Try swapping 8psk modules with another of your working stbs.

Already did that as well, problem still exists.
I swapped the 8psk with the receiver that works perfect and the prob still exists.
I tell you, it's driving me nuts. I'm not a newbie and I'm familiar with the process of elimination and have tried everything, to now avail.
Thinking of using it for target practice, lol.

For starters take the 8psk module out, and watch a SD channel and see if the T5 still acts up or Not
Did you try the Boot-Loop File on it ? You may need to do it a few times.

The first thing I do with any T4, T5 or DLHD is throw the factory PSU in the garbage. If in Canada go to Princess Auto and get a new PSU at 3A or better.
Although this may not apply to your issue but all T4,5,HD owners should remove the cover from the factory tuner .
I would lean to Power Supply Unit (PSU), recheck steps with new PSU and a known working 8PSK.

Thanks for all your terrific ideas guys but I have doe all the steps that you guys recommended.
I put a brand new PSU on the recvr and still have a problem, switched out the 8psk module.
Tried leaving the coax unhooked and still reboots.
Tried putting the latest Boot-Loop file in several times and even put in the factory Default.bin file from 2013 and then followed up the latest upgrade bin file from Feb 2016.
I know I've done everything right but still constant rebooting.
I repeat, I'm at my wits end.
