Thread: Can not connect

    Red face Can not connect

    Hello all:

    I have a BUZZ 3000 (red model referred to as Titanium) running 352.

    After completing a factory reset to clear the box of everything, then updating to the current version file 352 and it no longer connects.

    If I leave it at the factory reset default it works just fine. I'm using my own made up MAC address, not the one in the server line and it has always worked in the past up until now. Been using the same supplier for years, though recently changed from one service to another but, its all from the same reseller.

    Used my credentials on the STB EMU and it connects to the server without any problems whatsoever.

    At a loss as to why it won't connect. I have two BUZZ 3000 boxes like this.

    Wondering if using the MAC in the server line would make any difference? Thank you for your replies.

    you could ask your seller to reset the mac on his panel ,might work

    all you need to do is edit mac addy(blue button) and enter server url

    Sorry I forgot to mention that in my original post but, he has reset it a number of times.

    My buddy is a close friend of the reseller and we've tried resetting a number of times to no avail. Its very odd as to why it will connect under the factory FW but not the current.

    Well that is the problem, I did use the blue button to edit the MAC once it was running FW 352, to the one I've always used with this box but, it won't connect for some reason as mentioned in my OP.

    Was wondering if using a different MAC and letting reseller know to change it and then to reset his panel to reflect the change would make any difference? Then again as mentioned it'll work with the STB EMU on a number of my other devices and even Bluestacks. Thanks for taking the time.

    make sure its not a sub domain that firmware has issues with sub domains for me on xpl3000
    if its not cloud flared or proxying try using ip instead of url


    example of sub domain would be

    There was an alternate form of the address that I tried and it too was a no go.

    We also tried "User Credentials" using "User Name" and "Password" with no luck.

    I think sat 9182 is onto something with regards to the latest firmware on the 3000 and the reseller possibly using a sub domain.
    The term sub domain is a little out of my scope, though I understand now after reading about it on Google.
    Not sure if I can mention the IPTV server here in the forum but, I can say that it is a common one.

    The address to the server is typed out in this format

    as was the secondary URL. Is there another way around this or is this just the way his panel is set up?

    If so I guess the alternative is just using the STB EMU though the BUZZ has other functions that make it more usable. Thanks guys.

    use check-host.net to get the ip from url
    if its not a proxies like cloud flair you may be able to just use the ip and port

    there could be a user agent block in place if they dont want you using certain boxed but that would be retarded on there end

    the user agent for that buzz box app is
    Lavf53.32.100



    they may also be locking to device ids witch when you logged in under STB EMU would have set them and locked to that

    shoot me a pm with the server url there is ways to see how they are locking on some servers

    Smile Got it to work but, not how I wanted.

    A quick update:

    I've since found out the issue is two fold. The server I'm trying to connect to is using bad redirects and the latest 352 FW on the 3000 will not let it connect and apparently never will, unless a new FW is released. I doubt that will happen as the box has been discontinued.

    I've reverted back to the factory file and have no issues connecting to the server once again. I also removed the check mark from auto update and will leave it at that.

    there wont be firmware updates for the buzz 2 but buzz updates could be sent for server issues if needed
