Big Ben officially retires.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger announced his retirement on Thursday.

The 39-year-old Roethlisberger was widely expected to retire after his team was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the Kansas City Chiefs.
