The issue is that I can't play it back on my pc. Tried a few different video converters but none will work. So, now my question is, can you playback recorded T5 files on a pc?

Yes I believe they are Recorded in a TS format, which can be played back on PC using VLC PROGRAM
VLC can pretty much play any Video/Audio format (including Vid/audio in rar container) you through at it .

VLC is the first thing I tried. It just kinda stutters and then I have to restart my pc as it totally freezes. Thats why I was trying different video converters but they didn't work either.
Maybe the file got corrupted and Ill try again. Does it matter if I format it with the T5 or my pc?
I format on the pc using quick format,FAT32,default size.
P.S...powerdvd plays TS files very well. There is a 30 day trial version free worth looking at.
Figured it out.....I was opening the folder to play the file inside but you have to open the folder itself with vlc.....
all good and thanks for the replies.
