    Default Lost Wi-fi

Has anybody had any problems with their router over the weekend?? Sunday morning I lost ALL my wi-fi, nothing would connect, did a reset on the back and held in that reset button until ALL the lights flashed, was then able to get my laptop connected, but no apple product, did some checking around and it seem like NightHawk routers have had a problem in the past, I think Charter sent out some malware to kill wi-fi for the football game, and they charge extra if you have anthing wi-fi connected, T.V got so expensive I dropped that, now use a $3.00 antenna, gets me the locals, that’s all I need, after a lot of frustration went out to Costco and got a new router

I highly doubt that Charter sent out malicious malware to routers.

i had a Netgear i got from Costco a couple of years ago and replaced it with a new netgear from Costco, which seems to work ok but now i am getting advertisements embedded with the other post i read from here, still something happened and its soon to see what other surprises show up, still wonder why i lost all my wi-fi Sunday morning, and was able to recover wi-fi to my lap top but not to my other wi-fi devices? the router had been working just fine, if i had not been able to get wi-fi to my lap top then i would say that part of the router quit working but to get some and not the other makes no sense, and with all the hacking going on something weird happened and i think some outside source caused it. so i thought if any other peeps had had any similar problems recently and just thought it was equipment failure maybe this would put some question out there of what really went on, never hurts to ask.
