It is the original cable, i cut 2 feet off of it. I ran a temporary cable through the window for testing.

What made it so difficult was I had more than 1 problem, the cable must have broke near the diseqc switch in the cold weather and the diseqc its self quit working. Funny thing is my old receiver is working but I couldnt load my network settings into the new one.

I have had trouble loading the T5 manually but it works fine using the "Make2Dream" loader. You can find it in the T5 files section.

Did you get it to work ?Having the same issue all of a sudden. S and Q both 97 but in res and getting dreaded bad or no signal
I took all switches off and running it directly to the receiver. I will try a new wire I guess also

If you are getting the BAD OR NO SIGNAL showing up on TV Screen, then it is Most Likely your Power Adapter (plugs in wall)
or sometimes the HD Module maybe on it's way "OUT" (Heat Issues possibly as well)

I had recently picked up a used T5 for a back up so went and grabbed the power adapter and switched it out BINGO! Would never have thought that since it was on and seemed to be working. So that now has me wondering can the power adapter be bought by itself ?
    Thanks so much!

You want a Power supply that's 12v 3.5-5amp for the T5 to run properly, also if you haven't added Cooling Fans/Measures
to your T5 you should, I have a set of USB Portable Fans that sit on top of My Box/Receiver keeping it Nice & Cool
