Application Not Installed?

A friend just emailed me a pic of her buzz 3000 and across the home screen is has 'Application Not Installed'
She never deleted anything and only uses it wo watch live tv and movies. This happen to anyone else or know of a possible fix other than factory reset?

She also told me that Kodi still shows up on the main screen but when she tries to open it, says the same thing as the buzztv.
It also happened to her a few weeks ago but when she unplugged the box and plugged it back in, the buzztv app worked again. That didn't work this time......
Does she need to do a factory reset?
