Default IPTV buffering with new ISP, fine with old which offers lower bandwidth

    Hi all,

I work at a WISP and we've run into an issue with customers trying to use their (albeit) slightly shady IPTV services with our connection. It seems like the traffic won't go beyond 1-2mbps despite a capacity of 25mbps+ which leads to buffering every 3 to 5 seconds. This makes the stream unwatchable and leads to an unhappy customer.

Why is this occurring? Do these providers throttle new or certain IP space? I'd like to reach out to said providers but it's difficult to find any contact info. I can't even make an account with "Wicked IPTV" as the Telegram link to sign up is dead.

I gathered some info during my most recent site visit. Hopefully it helps:

MAC Server - (sorry that info is not allowed)
XC API - (same as above)

I would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. Will continue to investigate and rule out variables in the meantime. Please let me know if I can provide any more useful info.
