    Default ***IPGUYS Important URL Notice***

As of tonight June 5th midnight, cod42.biz:88 will need to have the :88 removed for clients to work again. The new portal url will be cod42.biz if you are using a mag box or hxxp://cod42.biz for all other boxes (replace xx with tt)

***No other IPGUYS URL's are effected***

Hi there.Lots of users are also having problems connecting with cod3. New.cod123 is also disconnecting. Any ideas what's going on? Are they in the process of changing those too?

Lots of users??? I have only had a handful of customers disconnecting. I'll mention it again...
If you are using STB EMULATOR that you have installed whether on Firestick or on any other Android device, You must populate the "DEVICE ID" and "DEVICE ID2" fields. You can enter any random digits in these fields. You can find DEVICE IDs fields on EMULATOR's "portal profile" -- "STB configuration" under settings.

Ok. Maybe I should have said handful, but it was a quick flurry of messages this morning. My cod3 customer panel is in and out. It either doesn't load at all, takes extremely long or at times loads normal. In most cases today the cod3 panel is not loading consistently. The other cod panels load instantly. The change to cod42 must be impacting cod3 or they could be working on cod3 separately. If you hear more please let me know. Thanks!

Hi There glad I found this forum, I have a Buzz TV xrs 4500 and it recently updated to BuzzTV5. since then having connection issues. I tried everything as well as the STB emulator. I -prefer the MAC id. Will the above fix help with this issues?

If on cod42 removing :88 from the url should work. I have a user with 3 Buzz Xr 4000 or 4500 boxes and its not working. He cannot connect on any. Not sure which model though. Another user with a Buzz 4000 they adjusted the url and is able to connect.

A third user using STB emulator changed the url. The portal loads up, but none of the channels work. When I test their account on my end all the channels work. It is odd. The server must still be doing work in the background.

well did as the OP suggested above and all 3 boxes that were having issues are no longer having issues. All connected beautifully!! I am having a few issues with a couple of the sports channels while watching the hockey game. But that's a whole other matter LOL

Funny thing is , when I went to my provider and told them what the issue was, they sent me the URL with the edited URL as mentioned above. They sent the original URL cod42.biz:88. They kept blaming the device not being good. They were adamant that it was on my end. But the whole time it was the URL they sent me all along.

When I showed them their mistake they never replied LOL

Anyways thanks for the help on this ,

The change is not working for some. A few with Buzz boxes and a couple using STB Emulator (with Device IDS). Portal is changed to hxxp://cod42.biz (replace xx with tt), portal loads fine but all channels display a black screen. Both Buzz and STB. On Buzz 4500 models a network stream error pops up at the bottom. STB displays same message mid screen.

    Any suggestions?

Much appreciated maird57! I see they've already updated the panel message. Great stuff!! Thanks so much! If you hear more please inform us. Cheers!

I was trouble shooting with two users this evening on STB emu. After the url change live tv worked but VOD getting "File not found" errors on every title. Switching media player to IJK or Exo, neither worked. Had to move them to a different portal. Providing this info in case anyone else comes across the same issue.
