Got it a few minutes ago. Installed perfectly fine. So far no side effect. Nice to see the max volume bug has been addressed
Also the traditional File Browser app is much appreciated (since the "files" app which was included is kind of pointless with a remote). I was using Solid Explorer (2.8.12) in the meantime, which seems to work fine also.
Thnx again.
I loaded the new update all works well except for when I try pairing a bluetooth device it just reboots and will not pair.
I noticed that they put suspend and force suspend back in the powerkey settings. Can anybody tell me what the difference is. Thanks
I just tested a few bluetooth devices, and this is what I found.
With an Anker Soundcore, the first attempt to pair it, failed. Then second attempt passed. I then proceeded 5 times to unpair it, and then repair it, and it worked fine. I did not get any reboot in my case. It was JUST a failure message.
Then I tried a cheap Chinese BT speaker that I had picked up from shoppers+ and it had the exact same behaviour. First pair attempt, failed. Then after that it paired flawlessly 5 times straight.
Did the same with a set of BT earbuds and was exact same behaviour.
The only device that paired on first attempt was my Plantronics Voyager Focus headset.
One nice thing however is that I noticed 0 lag on the audio connected via BT. On previous devices, I found BT speakers had a few millisecond delay on the audio which would be a little annoying to watch. I'm assuming this is due to the update to BT5 and more efficient BT radios. Now this is a game changer for night time watching when spouse has fallen asleep
The only comment I can make for the BT speaker/headphone is that I find the volume levels a little on the low side (need to crank it up a little more than expected). But this is by far not a dealbreaker. The fact that they are all in sync is great.
Volume bug was a nice one to squash
It's not that I'm mean, I just have a low tolerance for stupidity
