    Default TPMS sensor programming tools

There are several sellers of tyre pressure monitoring system sensors who market their own sensors that need to be initialised before/at installation. Some brands I have found use the same basic initialation tool. Wurth( probably discontinued) Wells Vehicle Electronics(discontinued) ITM (likely discontinued) Xtra seal (currently supported)Dorman (currently supported)

These sensors all utilize a 5 pin terminal on the bottom of the sensors and fit in each others initialisation device. Testing another sensor that was not initialised prompted a wrong sensor error. It may be possible to load different manufacturers firmware into another tool in order to be able to initialise another brand. Many of these tools are going on the market cheaply due to being abandoned but sensors are still readily available.
