My t-5 will not stop rebooting . Tried a few different power supplies , no better . Worked great for 5 plus years , Is it toast ? I got a t4 and a board. A blue board will that work ? I miss it already , it was so clear.

You may need to do it a few times for the T5 to take it and fix your problem ?
Update on this matter, T5 reboots a little less , But unwatchable . I had a t4 in the closet. After some good reading on this site , it is working fine . Thank you the info to get me going again .
Your T5 do you have cooling measures in place (fans) it could be rebooting because of "HEAT ISSUES" with board, HD Module, etc.
you can try taking the top cover off and have a fan pointing down over everything blowing air around to see if it acts up or not.
Also can try taking the HD module out, and watch a SD channel to see if it reboots etc. Heat is a Killer to these FTA Boxes &
The Cheap components that are installed in them, I have a set of Portable USB Powered Fans that sit on top of my Boxes
Blowing/Sucking hot air out etc. Keeping them Nice & COOL.
dont forget the take the cover off the tuner too that does help some with heat also
Did you try a new power supply?
just for the heck of it pull your 8psk module out and see if it keeps doing it. also try leaving the coax unhooked to and see if that stops the rebooting
i have a similar problem with the booting but my problem is even stranger, i brought my buddies box back home to my place and its not doing it at my place same power supply same box different lnb though. what i'm going to do and it may be your problem too is checking the sw21 switch or lnb at his place, thats the only thing i can think of now since its not rebooting at my place it has to be something at his place.
Compare the SPEC's of the power supplies being used, you "Need" one that is 12v 3.5-5amp for the T5 to operate correctly
Also check for corrosion/rust etc. at ALL Connection points (LNB, Switches, connectors, etc.) keep your cable runs as short as possible
Also I have suggested this many Times before, you have to have "COOLING MEASURES IN PLACE" (Fans) to keep the components
inside the Boxes from HEAT ISSUES.
i agree i would double check the power supply for sure. it could be getting weak
