    Default Any Lawyer's in the house?

    I have a phone internet tv bundle.I pay bill in or around the 19th of each month never missed a payment.2 months or so ago I seen on my portal (due date 9th.I was thinking I was paying before the 9th.As it turns out I was paying late fees for over 10 years.I called phone provider found this out.I talked to billings sorry your bad. You would think that
    should have been spoted.

    Can I get some or any money back?

    My house was owned by a lady who run a hairdressing salon in the basement
    She was registered with the town and Ontario Hydro as a business

    After I moved in ,, I went to Hydro and registered as a resident (not a business)

    12 years later ,, I come to find out Hydro was charging me commercial rates ,, I approached
    them about it and they did credit me the difference between Commercial and residential over
    12 years

    It's not the same situation as yours but just to say , if they are in the wrong , sometimes they
    own the mistake ,, in your case there is a (Pay by) date on your bill ,, if you pay late , I don't think
    anyone from the customer service department has a passcode or an override procedure to
    credit a client based on "client payed late" reason. They need to get an override from
    management to issue a credit and management is trained to decline credits.

    my ex worked at a call centre that handled at&t years ago
    a woman's kid downloaded harry potter when it came out and her bill was almost $1,800
    customer was told you're the parent so you're responsible
    ex was able to manage a discount for her of about $35...lol

    Yeah, I remember those days ,, kids were downloading and some bills were in the thousands !!
    One news feed claimed some kid downloaded while on vacation and the bill was 50,000 +
