So I just got a birdog usb plus, very cheap and now just wonder if it will pick up the 91 and 82 satellites? Are these still good to use these days to realign dishes?

91 yes. 82 probably not. Don't think the usb plus is capable of finding turbo 8psk signals.
Well, if it at least gets 91, I can just strap the 82 lnb next to it with a zip tie......
If you're in the Windsor area, I've got a Birdog Ultra I would sell. Though I don't think there is support for Birdog meters any more.
Do you have the 91 and 82 sats listed in it? And, yeah, Im real close to the Windsor area.
A old bell receiver (3100 etc.) works real good as well for 91 anyways
Ok, so I finally received the birdog and went through the menu and 91 sat isn't listed. Is there a way to manually load sats in this? Went through the menu and don't see anywhere to add one.
Edit: I found a site with supposedly the latest firmware. I took a screenshot and can anyone tell if this is the firmware needed for 91W sat?Screenshot (212).jpg

No, there is no nimq listed at all....Just 4 or 5 directv ones. The above link says to go to the birdog.tv website which is no longer active.....
Luckily, I can return this if there is no way to update this thing......

I have a Birdog USB plus you can have for free, not sure how long batteries will stay charged. I'll test it on the 91 sat later this afternoon to make sure it works. I'll pm you after, if it's good to go.
That would be great! Much appreciated.
