As DU mentioned, that is the latest.
The original update issue was with V20220624 firmware which was stuck not being able to take updates due to an unfortunate bug. The forced f/w update via SD card, would take you to V20220811, which then you'd be able to take further updates.

That's funny because my current firmware ver. is 20221011 and wants to update to 20230815 and fails every time. Still does'nt answer my question on how obtain the files of a ver. that's good to go for future updates.

Have you tried a full factory HARD reset of the box ? There is obviously something latched. OR onboard storage is too low sometimes. You can do a backup of your BuzzTV settings first to avoid re-entering your server info / favorites again. Just make sure backup is done to a USB key however.
The only files ever released publicly, were the ones I mentioned above (and even then, originally they were controlled), but it would be useless to you, since the version is lower than your current version. Buzz will surely NOT release files to all, since that would leave to many people in a situation where they could brick their box. Flashing with SD card does not come without it's risks.

Your internal storage is probably near capacity and doesn't have enough space to install the update.
