    Default IP Guys issues

    Hello,

    Just wondering if there are any IP Guys users here having issues recently. Specifically on the weekends. For the second weekend in a row about 95% of the sports channels have stopped working. Today they were working fine until about 9am and then went down.

    Last Saturday all english and sports channels went down and then on Sunday, english channels were back up, but sports remained down. They were not restored until Monday. I'm experiencing this issue and I am getting messages from many others. Anyone else here? Thanks in advance.

    yup the other day lost all tsn and sportsnet channels

    IPGUYS have had some issues that they are working on. No ETA when it will be repaired.

    Over 2 months later and this is still an issue. Especially with the TSN and Sportsnet channels. Every couple weeks they post messages about fixing the sports channels. In the last 48 hours I received four texts about users having black screens on all TSN and Sportsnet channels. There must be something going on with the server in the background whether it's a major technical issue or legal.

    When I last had the issue in October, using a VPN didn't work. I don't think it's ISP related. During this week one user with two subs in their house has TSN and Sportsnet working on one box, but not the other. Every other week they post a screen message saying "We are aware of the issues with sports channels. Thank you for your patience" or "If you have a black screen on sports channels reboot your box now".

    The user with sports channels working on one box and not the other, I ran the trouble account on my box and all the channels work on mine. We're both using Mi Boxes. If it was ISP blocking then both boxes in their house we affected instead of one. Just really odd how they've struggled for nearly 2.5 months to get 8 channels fixed properly. For those affected the issue comes and goes randomly. It's really puzzling.

    Could changing players be helpful.

    Unfortunately support from IPGUYS has recently been non existent. I don't think anything will change...but I hope I'm wrong!!!

    i just tried this and confirm there is a problem i ran url helper and started tsn its only producing the epg line
    for me using the sfvip player after loading tsn when it fails start it again it quickly those channels all fail first start but do play
    on a second try it may not work for you depending on how your playing back but i can confirm not a supplier issue more like a m3u format issue
    first 6 lines is tsn and tsn2 7 th line is bein it starts with the m3u8 the streams shouldn't start with the epg rather the m3u8 also the reason for the short play on the second try...

    They keep posting onscreen fix messages to users so it seems like they're really trying to resolve the problem.

    So another user that can't watch TSN and Sportnet tonight, I'm running their mac on my Chromecast and all the channels are working fine. No issue at all.¯ The channels are working on their other device though. Same url. They have two Fire Sticks.\_(ツ)_/¯. Hopefully this puzzle gets sorted one day.

    Having same problem and have tried different players and no change.works on one tv but not on other using 2 different boxes and one works and other doesn't...only ten and sportsnet channels don't work

    Yeah. TSN and Sportsnet channels are the biggest problem. Why those specific channels though?? This is going back to almost mid September. Really strange issue. One user having issues I've been testing their accounts on my boxes for the last 5 days and I haven't had one problem. I ended up switching him to a different service. I'm hoping they can figure it out soon.

    still the same here just checked someone was playing with it a few days ago
    i can still see whats happening in url helper its loading the epg but not the m3u8
    after failing when i try to start it again it does play but plays the .ts stream which will only play 30 seconds
    there are other channels doing the same someone is asleep at the helm brothers...

    Any explanation as to why on a users mac/account those channels don't work, but when I run them on mine they work fine?
