Syncing Events

In Mac OS X, if you are syncing multiple calendars, there is an additional setting in iTunes to specify which calendar is used for new events created on the iPod touch. In the Info pane, see the section labelled: Put new events created on this phone into the calendar: [calendar name].

When you create a new event on iPod touch and sync it back to the computer, it will appear in this calendar. This only affects new events, events you modify on iPod touch retain the calendar information that they had before.
Additional Information

This option appears in iTunes for Windows, but it is dimmed and can't be selected. iTunes for Windows does not support syncing multiple calendars. All events you create on iPod touch sync with the main calendar in your Windows calendar application.
