    Default Small Engines Life

Hello guys, keep talking about small engines came across with a few more questions but this one came up more with our conversations, some trimmers and lawn mowers are rated to last hours of live, example:
1-Non commercial trimmers are rated to last 50 hours
2-Lawn mowers are rated to last 200hours.
But the question here is, what to do after this equipment reaches the life?
Leaving cost efficient out of the topic, in some places it is cheaper to buy a new equipment but that is not the case in this thread.
Does it really come to rebuilt? Is it just a refresh, new piston rings and a clutch?
    Thanks in advance TURBO.

Unfortunately, that IS the case. Anything can be rebuilt, but why bother if it ain't worth the trouble? Much of the junk they make today is designed to be thrown away, and you are only excercising your frustration trying save it. Unless of course you can do it for yourself and enjoy it as a hobby type of thing, and don't mind wasting your money and end up throwing it out eventually anyway. Something is either worth fixing or it's not.

I know what you are saying, but here it is worth fixing depending of the cost of the repair against the cost of the new equipment, and if that new equipment is going to last what the old lasted.
Cheap trimmers clients decide to buy new they are only less then 100$ but commercial grade trimmers or lawnmowers they prefer to rebuilt.
    Thanks for the info..................................
