    Default Red hot exhaust tip

Hello guys, I just used my blower to blow some bamboo leafs from the side walk and since it is getting dark I notice when I finish that the tip of the muffler is red hot, able to lit a cigarette with it, rest of the muffler was OK and this is the only equipment I have seeing it has the screen you guys mention, so check the blower, after I turned it OFF I started it again, starts flawlessly, it could be the mixture? or what?
Mixture is with the bottle it came with the blower
Craftsman Professional Synthetic 3.2ONZ to a gallon of fresh gas wish I added StaBil. It has 2 year warranty in engine and carb only.

A friend told me it was OK because it was at the end of the muffler, not where the muffler connects to the exhaust port......he also mention to remove the screen it will not turn red.
    Thanks in advance TURBO.

Check your bylaws it may be illegal to run a straight pipe on your blower..LOL
All kidding aside I would leave it there. removing it will affect back pressure and the tip may be red hot to burn the excess oil like NP said..

I wanted to hear that answer, I wasn't to worry because where the muffler connects with port wasn't red at all but 2 stroke are not my specialty so I wanted the opinions from the guys that know this small engines.

When you say the 4 stroke didn't come close to the 2 stroke, what did you mean?
    Thanks in advance Turbo.

what I meant is that the total out put volume on the 4 stroke was not even close to the 2 stroke, only because of the high revs, but the 4 stroke was alot quieter....lol

Thanks my friend, English is not my first language just wanted to make sure it was what I understood. That is basically the only good thing I have heard from trimmers, blowers etc. that are 4 stroke, quieter operation...
