Ben Martin leads PGA qualifying event

WINTER GARDEN, Fla., -- Ben Martin, winner of the 2009 U.S. Amateur, took the lead Friday after three rounds of the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament.
Martin shot a 4-under 67 to complete 54 holes of the 108-hole tournament in 13-under 201. First-round leader Kyle Stanley was alone in second at 10-under.
The top 36 players at the end of the second round all played the Orange County National Panther Lake course, one of two being used for the event. The Crooked Cat course is also in play this week.
James Driscoll, Cameron Tringale and Zack Miller shared third place at 9-under 205. Chris Baryla, who had the lead going into the third round after shooting a 61 on Thursday, was tied for sixth at 8-under.
The top 25 finishers this week will be fully exempt for the 2011 tour.
Martin's only appearances on the circuit have come in the last two U.S. Opens and the 2010 Masters. He missed the cut in all of those tournaments.
