Default when is too late in the year to cut your lawn ?

if the grass needs to be cut then cut it, if it is still growing then it is not to cold. Grass become dormant and at that point it will not longer need cutting...
As it's getting cold up here in Michigan now, and I have lived in warm weather for a long time now....I have forgot how late is too late to cut the grass...

I did a search and that's one answer that I found.....figured I would start a thread asking for other opinions , I know not to cut it when it's wet , and I certainly will have it cut before frost, but it got down in the lower 40's last night ....and my grass needs to be cut now...lol...but it also rained again last night ( 6 days in a row now here )

when you can't start the mower anymore.
Some modern ones don't even have a choke and were designed to be started in warm weather.

My personal opinion is that when all the leaves have felled and then based on your preferences, rake and/or cut up the leaves and than use for either compost and/or grass fertilizer (mulching blade).

I haven't raked leaves in years.I use the mower with bag attachment to chop them up then dump the bag on the compost pile.
I leave the grass 3 inches tall before it snows. So the leaf collection routine is the last time the lawn sees the mower.

I didn't want you to think I was spending the money on myself. That's why I posted a reply explaining where the SatFix Bux went.

Here's a little token of my gratitude for your generous donation. Please accept it in the spirit that its meant...

Exactly. Try to be ready to finish this process before the first snow.
