Default HELP! Lost In Lunix Land!

    Hello.....
Thank for taking to time to read my post. I appreciate it.

    Here's my dilemma:

I have Puppy Linux loaded on the computer. I have a USB drive with my program I wan to run on it. (CNXEMU & SSSP Client)

I dragged those files to the desk top. so now I see them on the desk top. I try to do the "windows click" on them but nothing happens....

So I know I must have to put in some commands to get them running, so I need to open up "TERMNAL?" I don't see a terminal, but I have "CONSOLE" is that like terminal?

When I start console I see "URXVT" at the top. and I see in the command line #_

SO what commands do I need to type in to start CNXEMU?
Then how do I determine which com port I'm on?

Is there some sort of "CHEET SHEET" of the most used Linux commands somewhere?

I know with dos, I can go "HELP" and it will show all the commands.....

I'm not giving up.... I know i can concur this Linux thing...

Any help or idea would be welcomed....... Thank you...
