    Exclamation 4080 RTV feeds gone?

    Hi

The 4080 RTV feeds on 87 W appear to be gone. I'm still getting This, MeTV and Pursuit channel except Pursuit channel takes a little longer to tune in. Signal strength is still the same on everything. Using an Openbox 9 on a 10 foot BUD. Re-scanned and reset the receiver but still the same results. Any ideas?

The 4080 tp is still showing up with my azbox but nothing on my skybox s12, you could always watch the 3800 tp which is coming in strong. I've noticed the last couple of weeks that the 4080 tp has been much weaker then the 3800 one- it was the opposite for me in the past.

I was reading a discussion on another site on this subject. Some boxes could receive and others would not. Some of the ones receiving the signal quality was jumping all over the place. Some one analyzed the signal and found the signal was still there equally compared to other signals ( maybe a little less) but the signal showed an unusually broad signal. Like it was getting some type of interference from adjacent sat, tp or polarity.

I would also think that a receivers tuner sensitivity would have something to do with it as well. The tuner on my azbox is extremely sensitive and if the tp is there it will scan in. I'm just a bit curious as to why the 4080 tp is much harder to scan in as it was always the 3800 tp which was the hardest but not at all now.

I'm not getting either 4080 or the 3800 on an Openbox 9. I rarely get the 4080 channels anyways. I'm getting my Luken fix on my Ku system however I would like to know what the heck is going on, and for the people who are getting 4080 and 3800, what receiver are you using?

Looks like the 4080 channels are back. The 3800 were up last night but gone this morning. I think some engineer somewhere was sitting at the helm thinking "I wonder that this button does?"

You'd think this is something that would happen on a sat like Amc1 which is so old but Ses2 is a new sat. Good to hear they scanned back in.

I have had trouble pulling those in on & off with my Openbox S9. I have adjusted my LNB, & tried everything I know...I think sometimes they are just tought to pull in for that reciever. Every once in a while I can't pull in 4080, but can 3800. It get's so windy here at times I think that might have something to do with a mis-alignment

I have consistently been able to get the 3800 transponder while the 4080 is always about 20 quality points lower with the Openbox S9. My 10' dish definitely has alignment issues as I do not have it setup on a pole. It is propped up in the yard. I had my dish setup pretty good and it came in consistently until it fell over. What size dish are you using?
