Update: I rebooted box and can connect to server now. No freezing at all.

Probably because it's doing the same as mine, connects then drops it, then after extended period connects again then drops it again.

I have spoke with the owner and seems there is a massive ddos attack happening most is being filtered and only a few are seeing any issues its now being worked on
