For the home team "fan" (you and I) ticket sales, accounts for 20% of available tickets,, which is split between home team
and the visiting team ,,,, +/- 10% each side.
A stadium that holds 80,000 only really has 16,000 available tickets,, the rest are already sold to season ticket holders
(as a general rule) I'm not gonna get into stub hub ,, ticket exchange etc.
Those 16,000 tickets go on sale on a date and get sold within a couple of hours ,, sometimes not even that long and any
tickets sold after that date are tickets that have already been bought and are getting re-sold
So, wonder no more, why you never see an empty seat at an NFL game.
Going to a game is not only to follow your team ,, there's also the tailgate, the crazy costumes, face paint freekos, the crowd
the marching bands, the introduction, the national anthem, the fire works, cheerleaders, the fighter jet fly by, .. the beer , the drunks, the very drunk and the sheet faced. LOL
Going to a game is not just about the game ,, it's 4 hours of entertainment in a stadium along with 80,000 others and by the
way there's a game going on, on the field ,, I go to 2 games per year ,, either Buffalo, New York , Boston and by the time I leave,
I don't even remember the score.
Cheers !!
