This may be complete B.S. but if you want a possible explanation - here goes:
This may have been a shared effort - a few different guys were feeding a cache server.
A possible explanation is that the guy satb was buying from may have been nabbed or maybe just the Bell accounts that he was using to feed the cache were shut down. If the investigators shut off his accounts and found out he was and paid a visit - then it is going to be hard for him to set up new accounts with new receivers and cards to feed the cache server.
The other partners are still feeding the cache with their cards thus the server is not down completely - there are still some channels. Let's pretend that satb's man was a major contributor to the cache - and when he got shut down they don't have enough cards to feed the cache and that results in freezing for everyone. The only way to eliminate the freezing is to reduce the number of channels that you provide.
If satb's guy doesn't support the cache then the other guys may be asking themselves why are we supporting him if he is not contributing?
Like I said - this may be complete B.S. - it's just one explanation as to why you are still getting channels.
I could probably come up with a few more theories - but if satb is out of credits - and his bud is not responding - then I think if I was him I would be looking elsewhere for service ;-)

The last theory does not explain why NFusionHd receivers still are getting the channels that are missing on other receivers.
Where are the servers located for this? hope not in Canada
any one can confirme that NFusionHd receivers are realy getting all channels ?
Since you obviously don't believe me read post #1182 at below link
https://www.satfix.to/showthread.php...up-down/page79
I saw the post by syabus - but it is kind of amibiguous - he says:
"Using nFusion HD, I am still up with most channels. However, my other Nanosat Premium is half working. Look like the server is half working now."
At first he says most channels are up with his nFusion - but then concludes with "Look like the server is half working now"
I don't have an nFusion to test - so maybe some other guys with nFusions can check it out and see what they are getting.

At this very moment, my Nfusion HD is working with almost all of the channels from 200s to all the HDs channels. I delete the French channels so I am not sure if there working or not.
However, my other STB which is a Nanosat Premium is only partial up, like most of you are having. I have since put this Nanosat aside and using my Slingbox to channels to my other TV.
Usually, when there is a Server blackout, my Nanosat always work and my nFusion HD will not work until all the channels are back up and the Server is stable. Right now, this is quite the reverse and maybe someone may have the answer as to why using nFusion HD has almost all of the channels, but not the other boxes.
My nFusion HD is connected using goofather software through a DD-WRT router. That is the only way it can work or using NOI. My Nanosat Premium is directly connected to the router. It looks like direct connection to the router is only partial up. This is my observation.
I have always been using nfusion hd and NOI, on sat 82- very few hd ‘s coming in
Also no more stingray music which is my favorite.
Use to use an Infusion HD back in its day, then the Nanosat Premium, through them both in the garbage after getting the Dreamlink HD. Best decisions I ever made.
I have to be honest, this does not make much sense. The channels that come in or don't come in depend on the server you are connected to, not the type of receiver you have. I have to cal BS on that one. If the server is missing channels, it will be the same for everyone, no matter what receiver you are using.
I have a Dreamlink T5 HD box and I am getting most channels except from the 700s which is strange because they are just mostly blacked out, and not showing scrambled.
Anyway as they say it's always good to have a back up for this such as maybe another IKS Service to go with.
I know there are naysayers who would like to dispute the working of the receivers. I found out that satb knew about receivers that work with servers.
Here is satb quote.
"if the above channels i posted work for you then your box puts out a sid
please dont pm me asking me if your box puts out a sid or not
most fta do put out sid
provider ird's dont
if your box is connected and none of the channels posted above work for you the odds are your box dont put out a sid" end of quote.
most likely some cards are set to just allow some channels to be pulled so it dont overload the card
now sidless boxes can in a way bypass some channel allowed lists and pull any channel from the card
this is why sidless boxes are getting more then boxes putting out a sid is my guess
