Warning do not buy a Venture actuator

I bought one for my disabled father for his birthday last month. 36 acme from volunteer satellite.
I get the Jack and its missing the wire relief. That was a big deal with barney to get resolved. Since then every time a hard rain comes grease comes out the tube into the wire box and shorts the 36v leads. After 3 calls to venture they now tell me sorry they dont know what to say.
What a bunch of bs from a company in business that long.
They have turned to pure **** fk venture.

Hmmm, that sounds like the POS one I got out of China, it had the same problem with rain, it lasted 63 days and then the screw striped out.
