well seen a few canada geese here the other day. I guess they are going to sit on the ice and wait for it to melt or enjoy the ditches with the melt water in the meantime

Winter storm hitting Ont. today; Montreal tomorrow
Posted By: Canadian Press · 4/11/2013 2:02:00 PM
Winter was taking one last wallop at much of Ontario Thursday as a storm moved in from the United States carrying heavy rain, ice pellets, strong winds and even some snow.
That same storm system is expected to bring snow and ice pellets to Montreal and southwestern Quebec on Friday. There are snowfall warnings up for southwestern Quebec for Friday, and winter storm warnings up for Thursday across much of central and eastern Ontario.
"It's a remarkable storm in the fact that we don't get these kinds of storms that often in April,'' said Peter Kimbell, a warning preparedness meteorologist with Environment Canada.
"The last time we saw a storm like this in April was probably 10 years ago.''
Colder air clashing with the U.S. system was expected to produce a mix of ice pellets, snow and freezing rain possibly becoming heavy at times.
Environment Canada said the conditions could result in a "major ice storm'' in some parts of Ontario, and warned of potential power outages caused by downed tree limbs and ice accumulation on power lines.
Toronto's Pearson International Airport, Air Canada, WestJet and Porter Airlines issued travel advisories, warning that flights may be affected by the weather. Travellers were urged to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
At Pearson, at least 200 flights were cancelled. Many were local flights to Ottawa, London, Ont., and other Canadian destinations.

Always Rub your meat B-4 Grilling
I see nobody using this sticky anymore. But today's temperature here is -35c or -31f so I'm not going to work.
Yep, -32c here. I took my drone out I got for Christmas for a nice aerial shot a couple days ago. Any guess how the plastic on it acted after a hard landing??? I'm making prop guards outta stainless mig wire today haha.
Well we have been told an artic front is coming down and it is here lol
I know for many of you -5 C is nothing but damn it feels like -10 they say.
This is the first time the humminbird feeder is freezing through the day. I put another one out today
because an Anna's male was being very territorial and stopping the others from feeding. Normally this
happens in the summer and it's not a big deal when my garden is filled with flowers and bugs.
I am waiting until darkness to bring the feeders in and then put them out before first light tomorrow.
Schools were closed not because of the amount of snow but the icy conditions. Probably tomorrow as well.
These conditions will persist until Saturday when it's supposed to warm up and RAIN!!
orchidgirl from your forecast we have been told an artic front is coming down and it is here I know for many of you -5 C is nothing but damn it feels like -10 they say, that is the exact same as my location,
