A little while ago i seen car and a guy on my neighbors property with a hand held meter pointing at a power pole.The only thing on this power pole is power to my neighbors shop and phone lines.I was watching my buzz on a server and shut it off and the guy walked toward my neighbors but never came down my phone line way which is under ground.Not sure because didn't get a good look but i think logo on car said cytek.What else could the meter be reading?

Yes I do but the guy wasn't pointing at my house and my power comes in high up on the pole to another pole then to my house.My neighbors power runs down the pole to my neighbors shop and i think only power used most of the time is to charge golf cart batteries.I am not sure how many phones lines but I do know my phone lines run down the pole under ground about a 100 feet from my house.

If they're pointing at power lines I don't think you need to worry about your iptv. It could be they were using a thermal imager to check for faulty connections.

The power to my neighbors shop runs down the pole then buried under ground to the shop along with my phone line.The guy was at the base of the pole checking different angles to the pole.

why did you not go out and ask what was he doing?? i would have, might have learned something new for the day, then again the guy could give you a story, but then you let this kind of person know that he is being observed, the govt has ways to know what you are doing on your computer, the govt can and does point things at windows to listen at what is being said in the house, as an extreme you could have call the local PD and complained there was this suspicious person in the front yard doing something and looks dangerous,
