a few years back there was a series about "preppers" and the extremes that those folks went to with underground living, weapons, food, gold coins, then some months back saw another clip that the govt knows who they are and where they built their hide-outs and that in case needed what they had the govt would then raid those compounds for its own use, those that built those underground facilities had to have deep pockets

i suppose anything or anyone that becomes a threat to the united states government gets shut down , and fast ..... unfortunately the " preppers " probably really wanted to live or at least try to live off the grid , but you have people like these below :
