    Default Report: Coach Sean Payton to leave New Orleans Saints.....

    New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton has stepped down from his position, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

    Payton's future in New Orleans was up in the air following the 2021-22 NFL season, which saw the Saints finish second in the NFC South with a 9-8 record. New Orleans missed the playoffs for the first time in five years.
    The 58 year-old has a 152-89 record with the Saints in 15 seasons as head coach.
